Using Orange APIs within IBM's sMash environment

Get FREE credits to use Orange Instant APIs

Commercially launched by IBM in May 2009, Websphere sMash is a development and execution platform for web-based applications, enabling developers to quickly build and execute agile, Web 2.0-based applications that help businesses be more responsive, flexible and cost-effective.

We’re partnering with IBM to bring Orange APIs to the sMash developer toolbox. We’ve developed an SDK to help you to use several Orange APIs (location, SMS, VoiceMashup, email) with Websphere sMash Flow Editor, and we’re offering FREE Orange Instant API credits to use this SDK.

installing Orange APIs in your sMash environment

bullet Add the Orange remote repository to sMash, in order to download API packages

Open an existing application (or create a new one) in order to access the console tab.
Once opened, simply enter: zero modulegroup addurl http://gui.alpha.orange-api.net/ihm/ext/APISdk/ to add the remote repository.
Check if the addition has been done by typing the command: zero repository info (you should see the whole list of the remote repositories in which sMash
can browse in).
