The Personal Messages API alpha is part of the Personal APIs suite.
It allows you - through your application - to access information about the messages received (email and web SMS) of an Orange France customer.
The alpha API is currently limited to the email and web SMS services.
Allow customers to see:
 total number of emails
number of unread emails
number of unread web SMS
overview of last unread emails

The information about messages is accessed with the customer's knowledge and consent and is applicable to registered users of www.orange.fr
The information can be retrieved once the user has been authenticated by Orange through the Authentication API.
Use this API to develop personalised services that alert your Orange users of their messages.
In a nutshell, the Personal Messages API (currently) enables you to:
Retrieve the total number of emails in the Orange mailbox.
Retrieve the number of unread emails in the Orange mailbox.
Retrieve the number of unread web SMS in the Orange mailbox.
Retrieve an overview of last unread emails in the Orange mailbox.

Currently, the API is in alpha mode, and is part of the Personal APIs alpha suite.
This means that it's FREE to use with some service limitations (as you would expect).
