The easiest and most successful route into Orange for mobile games is via Orange Partner, and then through a group level aggregator or distributor. Our current primary mobile games aggregator is Advanced Mobile Solutions (AMS). They'll work with you to get your product seen by the relevant Orange country.

The most popular format for games obviously differs depending on which Orange country you're in.
For example, Java games are dominant in France, UK, Netherlands, Romania and Switzerland, while Eastern European customers prefer SMS and WAP. Generally, our downloadable games catalogue concentrates on high quality products which can be promoted through local advertising campaigns.

(And did you know… Juniper Research predicts that by 2009 mobile games will become the second source of data revenues after music?)

The primary Orange route-to-market for VOD is through a TV/VOD aggregator named Player X.

Player X is an award-winning mobile media company that specialises in providing premium mobile entertainment to the world. They actively develop, publish and distribute content across a global distribution network of over 140 channels across operators, portals and handset manufacturers and reach a potential audience of 1.8 billion people.

Established in 2003, Player X has expertise in three core product divisions; games, mobile TV & video. Their content portfolio is a rich mix of branded and made-for-mobile content.

Via the Orange Partner programme, we are now able to give you the option of a referral for your TV/VOD products or content opportunities direct to Player X, for possible inclusion in a commercial deal with one of the Orange countries.
