Tele Atlas Innovator Series Developer Competition (EMEA)

Seeking Innovative Location Based Services for Mobile and Web!

The "LBS - Out the Box" EMEA Developer Competition is extending registration through Aug 23rd 2008.

The European edition of the successful Tele Atlas LBS Innovator Series is launched.

This contest is for both mobile and Web applications that include mapping or location as a functionality enhancement.

Location can add value to a wide range of consumer and enterprise applications – social networking, travel, points of interest, real-time traffic, personal security, and more. Through this competition, Tele Atlas is searching for new applications from new sources that capitalise on LBS.

If your application includes mapping or location features as a functionality enhancement, and will wow the judges, then Tele Atlas want to hear from you.

There are two phases and two categories for the competition. Those who succeed in the first phase will receive a developer finance fund to contribute towards developing and commercialising their application, and will then compete in the second phase for a combined "cash and commercial-support" prize.
