The Orange Code Camp Contest was open to all attendees of Orange Code Camp, Opio. Orange set the challenge: to develop the best and most compelling products for the Orange network, and submit by the end of the 72 hour event. A great number of entries were received, and many were developed or finalised during the event.

What does it do?
Sudoku is a logical puzzle game featuring a 9 cell by 9 cell grid. Within the grid are 9 boxes each featuring 9 cells. The object is to fill in the numbers 1-9 in each row, column and box, but they must only appear in each one once. Astraware Sudoku is suitable for players of all abilities. Features include 6 levels of difficulty, a choice of pencilmark styles, pencilmark completion and tracking, a notepad which enables players to make notes overlaid upon the grid, and an advanced hint system. It includes a puzzle creator which generates billions of true Sudoku puzzles, and a puzzle solver so players can input puzzles from a newspaper or book and be shown hints or the solution. Astraware Sudoku includes a selection of inbuilt puzzles. What does it do?
Most companies use some form of system to record the movements of their staff and visitors, however the practicalities of these systems may fail in high pressure emergency circumstances. A paper based 'log book' contains only the most basic information, no contact details, and frequently is not kept up to date. In case of an evacuation of the premises, the traditional book alone does not provide enough detail or a simple method to check 'who is where'.
PC based electronic logging systems are also of limited use in the event of sudden evacuation, or if there is a power failure. MoDaCo Incident Manager fulfils this requirement, and is adaptable for many different roles.
Based on a single dedicated device solution, the employees or visitors are added and monitored by SMS message, and in the event of emergency, the device can be taken to a place of safety and continue it's alerting, reporting, and checking roles. The Office Location' field in Pocket Outlook is used to store employee's current location, and the Notes field contains a log of activity with timestamps for each event. |
