the sessions The record number of 100 sessions at Code Camp were clearly split into a technical theme and (for the first time at Code Camp) a commercial theme. 'Fascinating sessions, great location, very enjoyable'
Serge Hawser - Surfkitchen The sessions ranged in style and length to meet a variety of needs and to facilitate discussion, networking and learning. Some were made available to everyone and some were for attendees under NDA.
The technical sessions consisted of six tracks – to provide the essential technical knowledge and skills required to develop applications, mobile content and solutions for Orange. 'Code Camp is a great opportunity to demonstrate products and future development'
Marian Sohaili - Waat Media The technical tracks were: networks, security and hosting, enablers – multimedia and handsets, brand usability from a technical viewpoint, the external development environment, testing and more testing, plus talk to Orange.
The commercial sessions were designed to provide attendees with the all knowledge required to partner with Orange and consisted of distribution channels, Orange requirements and the brand plus devices and the user interface. 'I came to Orange Code Camp because it looked more business-orientated than before… and it was!'
Olivier Chouraki – Mobiluck Plus, interspersed throughout the programme were some insightful sessions from the sponsors - Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Symbian, UIQ Technology (gold sponsors), Gemplus, Microsoft, Palm, Texas Instruments and Sybase (silver sponsors), on a variety of compelling subjects. The subjects ranged from programming for the various Operating Systems and devices, mobile application security, and introductions to new OS versions. 'Orange Code Camp provided us with all the necessary information to push our products through the Orange channels. This was an excellent event for us'
