meet the Orange Partner team

If you attended the event, you may have seen Orange Partner's Tom Angelucci presenting, earn the most from your mobile applications in the business track, or Martin Wrigley presenting, developing your PalmOS applications using the Orange network in the technical track.

At the Orange Partner booth there was the opportunity to participate in the daily handset give-away, or to grab an Orange 'goody' as well as seeing the latest Palm Powered mobile devices from Orange.

Plus during the 'meet our partner round table' you will have had an additional opportunity to personally meet the Orange Partner team, 'show us your products' and get one-to-one advice and feedback on your ideas or finished products.

Earn the most from your mobile applications (business track)
Tom Angelucci, Head of Orange Partner Americas

Tom's session provided a high level overview of the the Orange Partner and Developer program and provided an insight into the best practices for working with a leading international mobile operator like Orange.

Are you a mobile developer? Are your applications being sold direct through the wireless operators or via aggregators? To learn about ways to work directly with operators and cut out the middleman, this presentation helped delegates to learn: What are operators interested in? How do you make the first contact? Who are the decision makers to expose your applications to wireless customers?

Tom Angelucci, Head of Orange Partner for the Americas addressed these issues and more.

Developing your PalmOS applications using the Orange network (technical track)
Martin Wrigley, Head of Developers' Technology, Orange Partner

Orange is looking for applications from developers that exploit the appeal of traditional PalmOS applications with the facilities of a ubiquitous mobile network.  The presentation discussed examples of using wide area network facilities with applications and highlighted the extra facilities available through the Orange network, such as location based APIs exploiting network intelligence.
