The Symbian Smartphone Show focused on the expanding business opportunities in the Symbian ecosystem, with an executive-level conference, an extended exhibition floor designed to allow delegates to network with the whole smartphone industry and a new "Developer Zone" which included developer training courses, developer seminar theatre, and a dedicated developer exhibition and demo area.

"Mobile User Requirements – An Evolution in Process" - Keynote
Steve Glagow, Director, Orange Partner, discussed the Orange view on user requirements, and how they are changing with Convergence. He also talked about SmartPhone evolution, and how we can work with partners and developers to satisfy customer needs.
"User Generated Content – the Future of Communication?"
What happens when people are given the opportunity to make their own entertainment and share it with friends and family? Or the whole world?
We looked at how self-produced content is starting to take off in the mobile world, and the opportunities it provides… and we delved into Orange's own experience of peer-to-peer content creation and how we see this developing in the future.
"Orange Partner and the Symbian OS"
We talked about the benefits of the Orange Partner Programme and how it offered Symbian developers an array of tools and support.
