  january what's on www.orangepartner.com

hello

Welcome to the latest edition of what’s on, our newsletter for Orange Partner members. On behalf of the entire Orange Partner team I want to send you the very best wishes for the New Year. I hope it’s one full of good news, success and harmony.

With every New Year comes the promise of a host of new opportunities but, for the mobile business in particular, it’s a promise that seems will be delivered. During 2012 we’re set to see the penetration of NFC-enabled devices reach a critical mass; LTE deployment that will offer real 4G data speeds on mobile networks all around the world; the rise of smartphones in emerging markets; new versions of the major platforms that will bring new features and functionality; the increasing migration of user content to cloud services, and; the number of apps breaking the 10 million barrier (and making it even harder to find the good ones!)

For us at Orange Partner it’s a potential that we’re very aware of so we’ve been busy in putting the building blocks in place to help you make the most of this. During 2012 you’ll see a host of enhancements, upgrades and new functionality that will ensure our partners will reap the benefits of our rapidly developing market.

Happy reading and we look forward to sharing these exciting developments over the coming issues.

Alexia Froudkine
Director, Developer Marketing and Alliances
