We're keen to answer all your questions, so have put together some FAQs about our programme, which we hope will help...
Orange and France Telecom is a large organisation and our partner programme strives to make working with us easy and efficient. We guide you to our relevant decision makers, technical and commercial support, and give you access to compatibility and other testing tools. We have introduced a portfolio of APIs to facilitate the incorporation of an expanding range of services into your applications. We have also formed alliances with other Industry leaders. We deliver a constantly evolving progamme for our 3rd party partners to co-create, to help bring into being and launch compelling products and services for the benefit of our end user customers.
the Orange Partner programme is free to join.
When you sign up to join Orange Partner, you can select whether to be excluded from our regular (typically monthly) newsletter distribution and/or periodic emails. We urge you to accept these though to ensure you get our up to the minute news as we strive to spearhead industry advances... and we’re working hard to tailor our messages, to be relevant and interesting - you can ask us to keep you updated about any, or all, of three distinct areas by ticking the relevant boxes in your profile. But remember you need to say yes to emails in the “Email Notification” section to receive emails from us...
After submitting the form to become an Orange Partner member, you will have received an email at your registered email address. Click on the activation link on the email, this will take you back to the site, where you will be advised that your account has been activated. You will then be able to login.
All Premium member accounts have an administrator.
New users will first of all need to register as Orange Partner Members. Once they have done this the Administrator will then need to give them the Account Key. This can be found on 'My Account' under 'Manage My Account Key'. Copy and paste the key into an email and send it to the user , and advise whether this is for a 'Premium Member Registration' or 'Contracted Partner Registration'. The user then needs to log on to the Orange Partner portal at www.orangepartner.com, then go to 'My Account', select 'Premium Member Registration' and select the option 'I work for a company that has already registered with Orange Partner', then enter the Account Key and accept the Confidentiality Agreement and the Terms and Conditions.
Yes, the Administrator is able to find all users associated with their account by using the 'Search Members' option under 'My Account'. They are able to remove any users who they do not wish to retain as part of the account.
Yes, a new Administrator can be assigned, by selecting this option within 'My Account'. The Administrator cannot disassociate himself from the account until he has designated a new Administrator. Once the Administrator privilege has been reassigned the retiring Administrator becomes a User.
If a User changes the employer / company they work for, they are able to associate themselves to the new employer / company's Account (providing they have one with Orange Partner). The User will need to obtain the Key from their new Administrator, then select the option 'Change My PAccount' within 'My Account', entering the new Key.
Both developer programs were merged into one. If you are unable to access this content, it is usually because the migration of your account was not completed. In order to re activate your account, you will have to login and go to "Manage my member profile" in order to accept the Terms and Conditions.
Then click on "My account" where you should select "Premium Member registration". You will then be given several options. Select "I was registered under the following company on a former Orange developer portal and want to remain associated with that company: [company name]."
Yes, you could become a Premium for the reason you describe but we do not encourage this practice. Premium membership is designed for members who are serious about doing business with Orange and we would like to see our Premiums submitting products or actively engaging with our business.
