what is Orange Partner?

It’s a programme for 3rd parties... helping you to create and provide compelling products and
services with Orange...


why should you be interested in joining?

If you’re a 3rd party interested in producing mobile applications and content, or any converged service that Orange could sell to our millions of customers, then you should join the programme and get your solutions in the hands of Orange customers.

Or if you’re producing web applications into which you’d like to integrate Orange functionality
(sms, mms, email) or Orange services (for example, our ‘contact everyone’ service) then you should join the programme and use our APIs.


how much is it to join?

Absolutely nothing at all.

It’s in our interest to help you develop products and services for Orange.
And it’s in our interest to help you develop your own web applications and services using Orange APIs.

will I be in good company?

Yes. Orange Partner has 55,000 members, all using the programme in different ways for different reasons. Much of what we provide is made available online (through the website), and some is through physical events and workshops.

And then, when you need one-to-one support for whatever reason, we’re here to provide it to our premium members.

Good question. To find out more about membership and premium membership, click on the
‘joining the programme’ and ‘what do you get? tabs at the top of this page.

We have two simple levels of membership, read about them below.


If you’re a 3rd party interested in producing mobile applications and content, or any converged service that Orange could sell to our millions of customers, then you should join the programme to benefit from technical and commercial support and be kept informed about the latest news and developments in your interest area. .

 

(Please note: you do not need to become a member to submit your mobile application to us).


Or if you’re producing web applications into which you’d like to integrate Orange functionality (sms, mms, email) or Orange services (‘contact everyone’ service etc) then you should join the programme and use our APIs.

Become a member, this is free and available to all - all we ask is that you provide us with a few details (all of which will be kept strictly confidential).

want to discuss your ideas or solutions with us or use our Advanced APIs?

When you have a potential commercial solution, wish to benefit from one-to-one commercial advice and support, or are interested in using our Advanced APIs, you’ll need to apply to have your company listed with Orange Partner as a ‘premium member’.  (You’ll need to do this even if you’re self-employed or a sole trader).

 

Remember, you don’t need to become a premium member to submit your mobile app to us. However, once your mobile application is selling with Orange, you need to become a premium member so that you can benefit from dedicated one-to-one partner management and build your relationship with us.


There's no cost associated with any of this, it's free.

To become a premium member, you need upgrade your membership and you just need to provide us with slightly more information about yourself, your company and in what area you’d like to work with us.


We'll review your application and, once accepted, we’ll assign you (and your colleagues if appropriate) to a premium membership status. We can really start working with you and offering you the additional benefits of premium membership.

We’ve made the mobile application subission process a lot easier. You now only need to provide us basic details of your mobile app and we’ll let you know if it’s suitable for the Orange Application Shop.

interest groups in your membership profile (as of July 2009)

We’ve made the membership form more relevant to you. And to us.

Specifically, we’ve made it shorter, more appropriate to you, whether you’re interested in mobile apps & solutions, other Innovation or APIs.

 

These interest groups will determine what we communicate to you, so it’s important you tick the correct interest group(s) - be the first to hear news and developments in your interest area(s).

And we’ve done the same with our Premium Membership form. It’ll all be very clear when you look at it.

- easy language switcher: change from French to English and back, and stay on the same page

- most-read and top searches’: see what others are reading or searching for on the site


and some web features only available to members:

- your profile: view your membership profile and change it whenever you like from the home page
- recently-viewed pages: your book marks are shown to you without you having to save them

If you want to submit non-mobile ideas and solutions, please continue doing so using the regular Submission Form – which has seen improvements too
