We define applications as 'software which can be downloaded to a phone to help the user in their work or personal life'.

The Application Shop will be found in each country's existing WAP and web based routes to market. Each country will decide on the types of applications to accept, to best-compliment their current range.

We are preparing for the imminent launch of the Application Shop from the Belgium Web and WAP portals.

And we have expanded into the business market (as well as the consumer market) for the UK versions of the Shop.

The BlackBerry Application Shop is also now live.

To support all this we are looking for applications in French and Dutch for the launch of our new Shop, business-specific applications, and also apps for the BlackBerry.

As well as applications that are available in English, we're actively seeking applications in other languages - particularly French, and Dutch to be included in the launch of the Belgium Application Shop.

We're also interested in Romanian and Spanish applications, for local language versions of the Orange Application Shop that we'll be launching soon.
